Tech Club: That Internet Of Things Thing

The world is becoming increasingly connected, with devices interacting with each other, as well as humans, constantly all around the globe.

With an ever increasing number of Internet of Things (IoT) apps being developed, this connected world is creating seemingly limitless opportunities for businesses.

The revolution

The full range of possibilities continues to grow. The impact of these technologies are fundamentally revolutionising the way in which enterprises do business and are allowing for advancements in productivity which compare with the advent of computing itself.

But with the fantastic opportunities IoT brings come challenges – including expense, complexity and, perhaps most significantly, the issue of security. And who should govern and ultimately take responsibility for this new connected world?

At our next insightful Tech Club meeting on November 6 we will discuss all things IoT and hopefully come up with some answers.

And we’d like you to help form the agenda by taking part in our survey.

This interactive networking event will involve drinks and nibbles in London’s Soho on November 6, from 6pm onwards.

In order to join us, sign up for Tech Club here for your private invitation.
