Cyber security is one area of the IT world that will seemingly always be in a state of flux. Every time a hacker finds a hole in software or systems, cyber security companies spot it and a patch is rolled out, then the black hats find another way to get around security barriers.

It’s a constant game of cat and mouse, with hackers finding ever more interesting ways to breach websites, crack into servers, take down websites, and generally make a nuisance of themselves.

2016 was a year of big hacks and data breaches, and this year look to be no different, despite the cyber security technology on offer.
