eWEEK Europe To Give Away RSA Conference Tickets

eWEEK Europe UK is pleased to announce that it has a handful of tickets to the RSA Conference Europe in London to give away to  readers.

The conference runs from the Tuesday 11 – Thursday 13 October and to be in with a chance of winning just register to receive our weekly security news roundup and we’ll enter your name into the draw.

Headlining the RSA Conference in London this year is Tim Berners-Lee (pictured), the father of the World Wide Web. But backing him up are security professionals from some of the IT world’s biggest names including Microsoft, Cisco, Qualys, Symantec and EMC. On top of this there are more than 100 sessions planned in which visitors can engage with world-class experts and gain the latest perspective on what the cloud, data management, mobile and the consumerisation of IT all mean for security. And even RSA will be talking candidly about the advanced persistent threat it was subjected to earlier this year.

Challenging year

It’s been a challenging year for security professionals. Hacktivists spent their summer holidays harassing government and major corporations. Meanwhile, away from the limelight, organised criminals continue to plot sophisticated ways to infiltrate networks and devious ways to trick users into handing them the keys. And at the same time cyber warfare and defence edges nearer to the mainstream of international politics.

Our security newsletter will deliver the week’s biggest security developments direct to your inbox each and every Tuesday, up to, during and beyond the conference.

To win the RSA Conference Europe tickets you will need to register before the end of 26 September. The winners will be notified later that week. Best of luck!
