Courier: Microsoft’s Rumoured Tablet Emerges

Microsoft’s rumoured new tablet PC has become more concrete, as a detailed set of photos emerge on a blog.

The two-screen device, which was hinted at earlier this week tablet, turns out to be a two-screen booklet device, driven by finger or stylus, which is “almost ready to launch”, according to Gizmodo which, surprisingly even has a detailed cncept videao designed to show the product off to outside agencies.

The device shown in the video and photos has two 7in capacitive touch screens (supporting multi-touch), with a hinge that holds an iPhone like home button. It also has a 3Mpixel camera,

The device has apparently been developed almost in secret by Microsoft’s Chief Experience Officer J Allard, under the umbrella of Alchemy Ventures which produced the interactive Surface (a “big-ass table” according to Youtube satirists).

The video shows a device that clearly connects wirelessly, with multi-touch used to flip content around, and a stylus used to enter content in handwritten notes.
