TechWeekEurope Launches IP Detection Tool

Did you ever have to look up your IP address in a hurry? Sure, you could check router settings, type “ipconfig” into the command prompt or dig around your network properties.

Or you could use TechWeekEurope’s new ‘My IP’ tool. The clever applet displays your IP address, host name, port in use and even the version of the browser and rendering engine you are using. All you need to do is click on the link, and the results are delivered in seconds.

My IP follows in the footsteps of our Bandwidth Speed Test, launched in March.

Expect more useful tools added to the website in the future.

What’s my IP?

Are you fluent in the language of the Internet? Take our quiz!

  • Interesting.

    Today it thinks:

    IP Address 74.125.183.17
    Host 74.125.183.17

I think I shall stick to

It also doesn't have that annoying animation and gets straight to the point.
