UniFlow, the company behind the new opportunity discovery platform, today announced multi-year partnerships with Penn State Smeal College of Business, University of Southern California Marshall Business School, and the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. This rapid growth paves the way for a new generation of student engagement by providing universities with the software to centralize information about student organizations, competitions, general events, and other out-of-the-classroom opportunities.

Student clubs and organizations are not always visible to students who cannot attend club fairs, and many first-year students feel too anxious or shy to approach club leaders to introduce themselves.

“Students are actively looking to find communities for support during these trying times. Now more than ever, it is important that we promote virtual club discovery options,” says Ashley M. Rippey, Director of the Business Career Center at Penn State Smeal College of Business. Universities that have partnered with UniFlow have seen more students attend virtual club fairs than in-person club fairs of the past, and club leaders see more interest than ever before. “The switch to UniFlow has proven instrumental in promoting community participation and opportunities on campus–our students love the platform,” said Dien Du, President of Smeal’s Student Council.

Campuses worldwide have been actively looking for platforms to address this issue and conform to the new social environment COVID-19 has created on college campuses. “UniFlow has allowed us to provide information on student clubs and events while also providing club suggestions to newer members. The platform shares these opportunities which would otherwise be scattered across social media posts, making them more challenging to find,” said Mayra Abrams, Assistant Director at USC Marshall.

“At our virtual BBA Club Fair event, we had over 600 students come out, and there were over 20,000 unique club pages viewed,” says Stephanie Pawlik, Assistant Director of Undergraduate Student Life at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.

“It’s an incredible opportunity to have partners such as Penn State Smeal, Michigan Ross, and USC Marshall. These newly formed relationships are proof that our platform helps students engage with various campus communities,” says Rahul Khatti, Co-founder and CEO at UniFlow.
