“Ed’s product marketing prowess, passion for building exceptional customer experiences, and standout track record of delivering results make him a valuable addition to our team,” said Divanny Lamas, CEO at Transposit. “As we enter this next stage of growth, Ed’s contributions will be important in helping us expand market visibility and generate demand for our platform. We’re very excited to have him on board.”

Sawma comes to Transposit from Okta, the leader in identity and access management, where he served in several senior product marketing roles. From 2013 through its IPO in 2017, Sawma supported the growth of Okta’s core identity products business. In his most recent role as Okta’s Senior Director of Product Marketing, Sawma focused on growing the company’s second major product line, Okta Customer Identity. During the seven collective years Sawma spent at Okta, he witnessed the rise and power of developers in every enterprise and the immense impact they have on IT. Prior to Okta, Sawma held product marketing roles at Microsoft and Motorola for several mobile infrastructure, application, and service businesses.

“The combination of Transposit’s stellar team, groundbreaking technology, company culture, and the massive market opportunity is one of a kind. I’m highly impressed with the sophisticated developer-centric integration platform that Transposit has built to bring the company’s modern approach to DevOps automation and incident response to life,” said Sawma. “Transposit has an exceptionally broad and customizable approach to integration, making it a unique foundational component and differentiator. The platform’s deep integrations across hundreds of systems used by software engineers open the door for Transposit to expand into a variety of DevOps, site reliability engineering, and operations use cases. Transposit’s focus on pragmatism and low-ego collaboration also really resonated with me.”

Transposit gathers all the data engineering teams need and lets them take direct action in any system in the toolchain via Slack or Transposit’s interface with the touch of a button, so they can resolve issues faster with precision. Transposit Mission Control is a unified command center with real-time visibility, streamlined communication, stakeholder dashboards, and searchable, automated documentation. The platform dynamically systematizes processes and serves interactive runbooks to guide incident triage and daily operations, reducing stress, eliminating toil, and ensuring consistency.
