Teads Appoints Karen Wang as Managing Director, Canada

Teads, The Global Media Platform, today announces the appointment of Karen Wang as Managing Director, Canada, where she will be responsible for leading and growing the Canadian team.

Wang joins Teads with more than 20 years of experience in digital media, joining from Pelmorex Corp where she was Sales Lead for four years. Prior to Pelmorex Corp, Wang was COO and Co-founder of SpaceiShare Inc. and previously to this she was part of the launch team at Olive Media where she worked as VP of Sales.

Alongside Wang, Teads has made a series of senior new appointments across North America, including Natalie Bastian, Global CMO, Jennifer Werner, VP Southeast, Neala Brown, VP of Insights, Matthew Harris, VP Multicultural, Charles Lucterhand, VP of Strategic Accounts, and Marc Sutter, VP Enterprise Sales (for Teads Ad Manager).

The company is looking to bolster its employees across all departments throughout 2022, with plans to increase its staff by 17% across North America to meet growing demand. These recent hires will enable Teads to further its growth and focus on providing greater resources and services.

As well as several new hires, Teads has made a number of promotions throughout North America; Jennifer Lockhart, SVP Sales WC, Max Liebson and Fiona McIndoe as VP East, Maria McCarthy and Andrew Robinson as VP Midwest, Josefina Schmella and Ann Damele have both been promoted to VP West, and Brett McCarrick and Jessica Curry have both moved to the position of VP Performance, US and Agency Development, respectively.
