Swimlane, a leading independent provider of security orchestration, automation and response (SOAR) solutions, announced today that it has achieved technical integration of Swimlane with McAfee MVISION Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and McAfee MVISION ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO). By connecting these tools and offering the first ever Swimlane trial hosted in the new McAfee MVISION Marketplace, customers can deploy more robust security solutions and better protect their assets from ever-evolving cyber threats.

As a member of the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance, Swimlane plays a critical role in the program’s mission to accelerate the development of interoperable security products and to simplify the integration of these products within complex customer environments, bringing better value and more protection against the growing threat landscape to joint customers. Through this partnership, Swimlane and McAfee address a rising industry need to shorten response times from security events and more easily remediate compromised systems, leading to a simplified Threat Defense Lifecycle.

MVISION EDR is an advanced cloud delivered EDR solution that leverages McAfee’s massive threat intelligence data to provide visibility and advanced threat detection capabilities while accelerating awareness and threat containment through MITRE ATT&CK tactics and technique alignment. In addition to identifying threats, MVISION EDR provides AI-guided investigation that helps analysts make sense of the alerts and guides the investigation process, automating the time-intensive task of collecting and pinpointing key artifacts that are vital to the incident all while minimizing alert fatigue. The solution is managed by McAfee MVISION ePO, a software-as-a-service (SaaS), centralized security management console that enables management of McAfee security technologies, and extends security visibility and control from device to cloud.

“Swimlane is pleased to be selected as one of the inaugural offerings in the new McAfee MVISION marketplace. We have a long standing track record partnering with McAfee and our joint customers to deliver security automation in conjunction with McAfee’s device-to-cloud offerings,” said Swimlane Co-Founder and CEO, Cody Cornell. “Swimlane coupled with MVISION Marketplace, MVISION API, and the broader MVISION platform allows organizations to quickly leverage our combined offering to quickly address security gaps in real-time.”

By implementing products that are compatible with McAfee security solutions, our customers experience faster deployment times and reduced costs,” said Javed Hasan, Global Head of Enterprise Products Strategy and Alliances, McAfee. “Security should be easy to manage, so McAfee has taken the steps needed to open up its security risk management architecture and provide customers with the tools to easily manage their multi-vendor security environments. The result is greater protection, reduced risk and increased compliance.”
