Render Networks today announced VEA Connect (VEA) selected Render’s market-leading network construction technology to deliver VEA’s first U.S. fiber network for OpenFiber, serving North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Render’s solution will enable VEA to drive efficiency across the planned 321,000-premise network build and connect locations faster with end-to-end automation from construction to operations.

The fiber network will be built and managed for VEA’s customer OpenFiber and will serve the suburbs of Charlotte–N.C.’s largest city. Like many towns across the U.S., Matthews is experiencing rapid growth and requires premium broadband options to support new businesses and residents. Because the private broadband investment market is becoming competitive, VEA needed a fiber network construction solution to automate workflows and proactively manage maintenance to increase efficiency and speed.
