Raiven Capital Announces Björn Öste as New Limited Partner

Raiven Capital, a global early-stage technology venture fund, announced today that Björn Öste has signed on as a new investor in Raiven Capital. Mr. Öste is best known as co-Founder of Oatly AB which debuted its $12.5 B IPO in May on the Nasdaq. Björn Öste is a foodtech expert and serial entrepreneur who has recently launched several new endeavors. He is the co-Founder of Aventure AB, a leading food tech innovation lab, and Good Idea Inc. that is launching a revolutionary blood sugar balancing sparkling water beverage.

According to Pitchbook and CVCA (Canadian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association), Raiven Capital was the only first round VC to have a first closing in 2020, during the pandemic. Since then, Raiven has invested in six exciting platform companies involving AI, IoT, DLT technologies across a range of sectors.

With Mr. Öste’s investment, Raiven is now gearing up for its next wave of capital raising to reach its final close target of $100M USD by end of 2022.
