OrderProtection.com, a leading e-commerce purchase protection and customer experience platform based out of Lehi, UT and Los Angeles, is proud to announce the official appointment of its new CEO, Tanner Chatterley. With a strong background in the organization and a demonstrated commitment to customer-centric leadership, Chatterley is poised to lead the company into its next phase of growth and innovation while helping expand its footprint into new markets.

Chatterley, who joined OrderProtection.com last year as the Director of Revenue, has played a pivotal part in the company’s ongoing evolution and brings a dynamic background in revenue optimization, business analytics, operational leadership, and customer success management to the role. His seamless journey from overseeing sales and customer success at the company to managing its implementation, marketing, and a large swath of its employees gave him a comprehensive understanding of the business and earned him the trust of its team, making him uniquely suited to take on the executive role.

“What excites me most about this opportunity is the chance to shape OrderProtection.com’s long-term vision and transform it into an all-inclusive post-purchase customer experience platform for the brands we serve,” said Chatterley. “As the Director of Revenue, I was able to lead a team of account executives and customer success managers who share our company’s dedication to providing the best post-purchase protection for consumers. Now, as CEO, I have been trusted with the responsibility of steering the entire ship forward, serving as both a navigator and a collaborator, and working more closely with all departments to enable our team to pivot swiftly and effectively in response to market conditions and feedback from both current and future customers.”

This appointment is one of many key improvements made to the business since OrderProtection.com secured a $10 million Series A investment from growth-stage private equity firm, Maddix Capital, in 2022. The disruptive fund, also based out of Lehi, is reimagining private equity with a bold and operator-centric core thesis: the belief that the entrepreneur can and should be at the forefront of a fund’s focus in each portfolio company it takes on. The advising team at Maddix Capital helped solidify the decision to place Chatterley in the executive seat after witnessing his natural leadership prowess, compelling ability to nurture top talent, and eagerness to drive the company’s goals forward while helping protect hundreds of thousands of customer orders during his tenure.

“Tanner was a standout for this role very early on,” said Jesse Silva, founder and General Partner of Maddix Capital, who took a position as board member at OrderProtection.com following the Series A investment. “Like many of us at Maddix, he exhibits a relentless entrepreneurial spirit that is deeply committed to delivering results, driving innovation, and empowering individuals on his team. We chose to invest in OrderProtection.com because of its ability to elevate the customer experience while cutting support costs – two crucial KPIs that would not have been possible without Tanner’s strategic direction and involvement. We are extremely proud of the part he has played in the company’s growth and know that it will only skyrocket from here with him at the helm.”

Prior to joining OrderProtection.com, Chatterley honed his leadership and business analytics skills while serving as Revenue Operations Manager at Aumni, an investment analytics company that delivers the most reliable data and insights for private capital markets; as Senior Revenue Optimization Analyst & Client Success Manager at Route, an all-in-one post-ecommerce-purchase platform; and as an Analyst at Blackstone Analytics.

While this role marks Chatterley’s first executive position, he is eager to disprove any misconceptions about his experience or ability to lead the company’s growth, emphasizing the importance of emotional intelligence, empathy, and a customer-first mindset as key strengths that will guide him and his team of 34 employees to new heights. OrderProtection.com plans to fill several other key positions in the near term as it continues to scale the business and positively disrupt the e-commerce consumer journey.
