“As the quantity of data our federal customers must tackle continues to
escalate, so does the need for them to have faster, easier access to
proven data services and data management solutions,” said Dave
Turner
, president and chief executive officer of Hitachi Vantara
Federal. “Today, we are excited to announce the ability to address those
challenges directly by offering a new set of innovative solutions based
on the traditional as-a-service model. This will lift the burden of
financial and technology risk and allow our partners and customers to
advance any requirement they have, from modernization of systems to
surge needs, in a highly agile manner that also works within their
budget.”

With the aaS solution, federal customers can procure the full range of
Hitachi Vantara Federal data services that are part of the company’s
end-to-end solutions offering, including traditional infrastructure,
data technology solutions and REAN Cloud services.

“This is a game changer for many federal agencies that are in need of
modernization tools and may not have larger budgets for capital
infrastructure expenditures,” said Gary
Hix
, director of engineering for Hitachi Vantara Federal. “We are
confident this set of solutions will help the government advance
innovation and modernization at a more rapid pace — a pace that is
critically needed in today’s data environment.”
