Tyler Technologies Inc. (NYSE: TYL) announced today that Flagler County, Florida, has successfully gone live with Tyler’s EnerGov civic services solution. The county is using EnerGov’s comprehensive solution for business management, code enforcement, and citizen self-service.

Flagler County’s previous legacy system was not meeting the needs of local contractors and citizens in the community. The county was looking for a system that could enable citizens to have easy online access and provide greater transparency concerning permitting, planning, and licensing processes. Having selected Tyler’s Munis® enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution earlier this year, the county recognized the benefits of being able to easily integrate two solutions from the same vendor and ultimately selected EnerGov.

Following a successful go live, Flagler County is now using the following modules of EnerGov throughout its various county departments:

  • EnerGov Community Development, which automates the county’s governmental operations in land use planning, permitting, enforcement case management, and inspections. Flagler County can now manage plan reviews in a paperless environment, increasing staff productivity.
  • EnerGov Business Management, which provides enterprise-level interconnectivity between departments that span the permitting, planning, and licensing processes within the county.
  • iG Workforce, which are mobile apps that offer a powerful, focused experience for municipal inspectors and code enforcement personnel to complete in-field tasks entirely online.
  • Citizen Self Service, which allows for autonomous access to digitally submit and manage applications online, frequently eliminating the need for paper files.

“We’re proud to have completed a successful implementation for Flagler County, and we look forward to helping them realize the many benefits of the EnerGov solution – from increased transparency to better citizen access to achieving a paperless environment,” said Dane Womble, president of Tyler’s Local Government Division. “Tyler has been providing software solutions to hundreds of Florida agencies for years. Adding Flagler County to our rapidly growing list of Florida clients demonstrates our ability to meet the software and service needs of agencies with dynamic business demands. Additionally, the county continues to add more Tyler solutions to help further connect its back office as well as connect with its constituents.”

Flagler County is on the east coast of Florida and is in the Daytona Beach-Ormond Beach metropolitan area. Approximately 110,000 people reside in Flagler County. In addition to Munis and EnerGov, Tyler also provides its ExecuTime Time & Attendance and SoftCode civil process solutions to the county.
