The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) has become the fourth United States (US) government agency to authorize Questionmark’s OnDemand for Government for their use. The platform will enable the FDIC to better measure the skills, attitudes and learning of their people on a cloud-based platform while complying with government’s stringent security protocols.

Organizations across sectors increasingly recognize the power of using online tests and assessments to measure the skills of their workforce and to make better decisions on training, development programs and compliance policies and procedures. However, the stringent requirements of the US government mean that many cloud-based applications are not appropriate for use.

Questionmark’s OnDemand for Government, is a Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) authorized online assessment platform. The authorization confirms that Questionmark has met cloud service offering compliance and security standards required to provide assessment services dedicated to U.S. government needs. The authorized listing can be viewed on the FedRAMP Marketplace.

Questionmark OnDemand for Government is a software-as-a-service platform where United States Federal, State and Local government agencies and their contractors can safely and securely use a powerful tool for creating, delivering and reporting on assessments. It enables organizations to map the strength and weaknesses of skills across the workforce, measure the effectiveness of compliance training and identify development needs across their teams.

Currently, Questionmark OnDemand for Government is being used by Customs and Border Protection, Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and United States Air Force.

John Kleeman, Founder of Questionmark, said: “FDIC’s decisions to work with Questionmark is a vote of confidence in the high-standards of our FedRAMP authorized platform. The fact we can meet such stringent security standards should give confidence to organizations from all sectors and industries around the world that we can deliver cloud-based assessments safely and securely.”

Questionmark OnDemand for Government is hosted in a U.S.-based, FedRAMP approved data center used by U.S. government agencies and their service contractors. The service is currently certified for FedRAMP moderate or DoD Impact Level 2 data. Questionmark operates the software-as-a-service, including provisioning, scaling and maintaining hardware, operating systems, software, ensuring sufficient bandwidth and performance, installing upgrades and managing backups securely.
