In the keynote, Jihyo Lee will discuss architecture and design considerations for SSDs and controllers in hyperscale data centers, elaborating on critical challenges, including power envelopes, thermal management, write amplification, and designing for Quality of Service (QoS), that FADU identified early-on in its architecture design and has successfully implemented in multiple generations of solutions.
With 20 years of product development experience and as a developer of more than 40 patents, Ross Stenfort understands the challenges SSD providers face to deliver performance and QoS within a shrinking power envelope. He will share his views from a hyperscaler perspective on system-level challenges within the industry and the efforts underway to optimize SSD designs and specification standards to best match various system configurations.
