Cyemptive Technologies, an award-winning provider of preemptive cybersecurity solutions for business and government, today continued its series of strategic actions to scale up the company for the next level of growth with the announcement that industry veteran and senior risk management/insurance executive Jim Fasone has been appointed to the newly-created position of Chief Risk Officer.

Fasone will be responsible for Cyemptive’s enterprise risk function and strategic risk transfer partnerships. He brings with him more than 30 years of extensive experience in risk management, insurance brokerage, mergers and acquisitions, as well as creating unique scalable programs in the technology, healthcare and financial services sectors.

In his new role, Fasone will focus on creating unique go to market strategies leveraging strategic partnerships and utilizing various alternative risk structures. Fasone is a graduate of the Max M. Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University, and has received designations as an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and a Registered Property Liability Underwriter (RPLU).

“As Chief Risk Officer, Jim is serving a critical role designed to create value for Cyemptive customers and stakeholders,” said Rob Pike, founder and CEO of Cyemptive. “His background and experience, both in the insurance and risk markets as well as creating unique scalable programs for enterprises undergoing business expansion, will be of particular value to our customers as Cyemptive moves up to the next level of growth.”

Cyemptive has created next generation layers of cybersecurity that are essential add-ons for businesses to achieve cyber safety. When added to the customer’s existing capabilities, Cyemptive’s cybersecurity solutions eliminate damage from occurring even from previously unknown attack techniques. Cyemptive’s preemptive solutions are the only ones on the market today guaranteed to protect computing environments before or immediately following a compromise.

“I am honored to join such an amazing team of executives that have developed game-changing cybersecurity technology to pre-empt ransomware attacks,” said Fasone. “The industry desperately needs proven solutions to mitigate these risks, as claims and related demand for coverage are predicted to support written premium growth from $7.5 billion in 2022, to nearly $30 billion by 2027 according to a recent study.”

Today’s announcement is part of a series of strategic actions the company began in December to expand and scale it up for the next level of growth. These include a series of new offices, starting with Wilson, NC, to support its growing customer base, and the appointment of former Hitachi senior vice president Ray McCay to the newly created role of Chief Revenue Officer.
