SightGain welcomed Jerry Hoff as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective December 1st. Hoff brings significant startup leadership and senior cybersecurity experience to the SightGain team. He has held various senior executive positions where he has been instrumental in driving growth, innovation, and value creation.

Hoff takes over a company on the rise. SightGain achieved a 100% renewal rate for all customers in 2023 and is on track to double annual recurring revenue again in 2023. Additionally, SightGain has found a niche with consulting customers and service providers that want to provide clients better results with automated assessments and analysis — a major source of growth in 2024 and beyond.

“Chief Information Security Officers and security organizations need qualitative metrics to measure the strength and effectiveness of their security posture. SightGain delivers invaluable security insights that will be the north star of security programs, especially as organizations adopt Zero Trust,” said Hoff. “SightGain has proven to be a must-have solution for both public and private sector organizations to improve their security posture and maximize the value of their security program. I could not be more excited to be on the team at SightGain.”

Hoff led the global security team at Sony, was the senior security architect for the Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, and held senior-level cybersecurity roles at WhiteHat Security and Morgan Stanley. He will be responsible for the continued growth of commercial sales, guiding the corporate strategy, and building the revenue operations processes necessary to scale the company. He will expand the use of the SightGain platform for enterprise and consulting customers while leading the product team to deliver the most valuable results for our customers.

Christian Sorensen, founder and previous CEO, will assume the role of Chief Risk Officer. In this role, Sorensen will accelerate development of threat and risk assessment analytics in order to deliver additional cybersecurity insights and use cases to SightGain customers.

“We are thrilled to have Jerry leading the SightGain team. He has demonstrated a remarkable track record of success at both startups and some of the largest global companies. He knows intuitively the value the SightGain platform brings to its customers, and we are looking forward to benefitting from his leadership,” said Sorensen.
