The Regional Municipality of York, home to Canada’s second-largest tech hub with more than 4,500 tech companies, is set to host announcements featuring an estimated $250M worth of new business investment and expansion from its #YRtech Pavilion at Collision Conference.
Business announcements and economic development partnerships presented by York Region’s nine cities and towns will drive innovation in sectors including auto tech, life sciences, semiconductors and engineering. They will also result in more than 800 new tech jobs over the next few years and a total of more than 10,000 additional innovation economy jobs and $1 billion in total capital investments in the long term.

Collision Conference will be returning to in-person activities in Toronto for the first time since 2019.
