The world of unified communications descended upon Kensington Olympia last week for UC Expo 2015, with vendors and service providers showcasing their wares.
UC has many networking firms very excited and are pitching the technology as a way of making a mobile-first business even more productive by aggregating various modes of contact, such as fixed and mobile phones, instant messaging and VoIP, and ensuring that any type of communication can be access through any type of device.
Naturally every vendor things they have the answer, so we spoke to three – AT&T, Cisco and Avaya – to see how they think they can help organisations embrace this new technology
