Between the golden age of Nokia and the iPhone revolution, BlackBerry had its own brief moment of glory. RIM’s email devices quickly evolved into the ancestors of modern smartphones, attracting users with ergonomic designs and the famous QWERTY keyboard. The performance wasn’t bad either, so professionals just had to have one.
Although its market share was eaten by the iPhone, Android and even by Microsoft, the humble BlackBerry still carries its unique identity and represents a culture of innovation.
