Telematics for Usage Based Insurance

With a market representing 5 million drivers, the telematics industry is racing to implement Usage Based Insurance to gain competitive advantage and meet increasing commercial and private consumer demand. This form of insurance harnesses the latest machine-to-machine technology to capture detailed driving, claim management and environmental data. This information is used to assess behavioural risk and also to improve motor insurance pricing.

Based on this, SMi is proud to be hosting its 3rd annual Telematics for Usage Based Insurance conference on 18-19 February 2015 in London.

Join us as we ask questions such as: Where does telematics fit into risk management? What influence will Mobile and Dongle based UBI offerings have in the long term? How can you engage low premium customers? What do consumers want from telematics propositions – just cheaper premiums?
