The holiday season is upon us – or is it? We want to know if TechWeekEurope readers will be getting away from it all this year, or are you chained to your virtual office?
There are plenty of technologies that allow us to mix work and leisure. Sometimes it’s a boon, when you can leave the office on time, and still be available if something goes wrong. But what happens when you want a proper break? Or is that even possible any more?
For some, it’s an essential. For others, an occasional glance to the work email stream is enough to reassure you that nothing has gone badly wrong – and it helps you keep it under control so your eventual return is not such a shock.
We want to know what mode of operation you favour: whether it’s a full strength laptop ready for crises, or whether you travel light with a smartphone to limit the amount anyone can expect of you?
Or maybe you simply take nothing at all.
We’ve also included the not so happy options: perhaps you are not going to be able to take a holiday this year.
It’s also quite possible that you may be even more unfortunate in not having a job to leave behind for a few days. If so, we hope our Jobs Section can help.
Let us know where you stand on the issue of business tech on holiday.
