Ricci brings more than two decades of transactional, operational and
risk experience at major national law firms, as in-house counsel and
in-business roles. As general counsel, Ricci will oversee all of the
company’s legal activities, including the legal aspects of strategic
transactions, business development and enterprise sales. Ricci also has
deep experience counselling companies navigating highly regulated
industries and data privacy regulations. In addition to her legal
acumen, Ricci has significant management experience as a vice president
at both Bank of America Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan Chase Bank. She
earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Virginia School
of Law and a Bachelor of Science from the School of Foreign Service at
Georgetown University.

“Faye brings a wealth of legal and management experience, especially in
strategic transactions, enterprise sales and corporate governance, that
will enhance Zipwhip’s corporate strategy, product development and value
to our customers,” said John Lauer, CEO and co-founder of Zipwhip. “We
are excited to welcome another strong leader to the Zipwhip team as we
continue transforming our company.”

Zipwhip, the original creator of texting for business, champions
consumer protection measures and is a positive influence on national
telecommunications policy as the industry evolves. Most notably, Zipwhip
has been a strong advocate for shielding consumers from spam and keeping
text inboxes a high-priority channel. Ricci will be instrumental in
reinforcing Zipwhip’s continued role as a proponent of spam-free
communication channels.

“I’m thrilled to join such a welcoming and inclusive team here at a
critical juncture for the company,” said Ricci. “I’m eager to
collaborate with Zipwhip’s impressive leadership to ensure we’re
applying best practices around compliance and data-protection
regulations, managing our industry reputation and safeguarding our
customers’ privacy.”

Ricci’s appointment comes following a groundbreaking year for Zipwhip,
marked by a $51.5
million Series D funding
round led by Goldman Sachs, and the launch
of the company’s inaugural State
