Today, Virtual, Inc., announced the promotions of Margot Rodger, Shannon Taylor and Deborah Leland to Vice President of Events & Meetings, Clients Services, and Technology Solutions, respectively. Virtual is a professional services firm that provides strategic advisory and execution services that drive real results for technology consortia, standards groups, and associations that are forming, growing, or changing.

Margot Rodger, Vice President of Events & Meetings

Rodger first joined Virtual in 1998 and has held multiple roles in public relations, membership, marketing, and program management with the firm. In addition to working at Virtual for almost 20 years, Margot was a community manager for a Massachusetts-based technology council, creating and producing award-winning content and events on cybersecurity, healthcare and life sciences, and cloud computing. Rodger graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Saint Michael’s College and is a member of the American Society of Association Executives.

Shannon Taylor, Vice President, Client Services

Taylor has been at Virtual for over 15 years and has held numerous roles contributing to client success. She is particularly skilled at engaging with and building growth-oriented relationships with clients to ensure their success in all facets of their organizations’ operations. Taylor earned her bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from Malone University.

Deborah Leland – Vice President, Technology Solutions

Leland has more than 20 years’ experience in the technology industry specializing in managing enterprise projects and programs most recently at Progress Software and ZenSar Technologies. At Virtual, she oversees all phases of the project development life cycle and ongoing operations of applications, web initiatives and technologies used globally by the company and its global clients. Leland earned a bachelor’s degree from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a master’s degree from Brandeis University. She is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
