Transaction Network Services (TNS) has been certified as a Managed Network Service Provider (MNSP) by Gilbarco for its Gilbarco Passport point-of-sale system which is being rolled out across the United States.

Retailers that deploy Gilbarco Passport can now use TNSLink to connect their instore terminals securely and cost-effectively to TNS’ global payments community. The technology can support multiple instore applications, improve uptime and increase productivity. TNSLink leverages TNS’ global presence and established connectivity with more than 400 host payments systems.

“We’re delighted to have secured this important certification, which is the first of several key accreditations,” said TNS Chief Product Officer, Bill Versen. “TNSLink is a fully managed end-to-end secure commerce solution with redundant WAN connection options, and no restriction on transaction volumes, or site requirements. It is a natural fit with Gilbarco Passport, and together this union will allow retailers to provide a highly secure, reliable and feature-rich point-of-sale service to customers.”

TNS is a Level 1 PCI DSS certified service provider and its products help to protect millions of merchant locations around the world.
