ThousandEyes, the company that delivers visibility into the Internet and
digital experiences, today announced the appointment of Godfrey Sullivan
to its board of directors. An experienced enterprise technology leader,
Sullivan has served as chairman of the board of directors at Splunk,
Inc. since 2011 and as its president and chief executive officer (CEO)
from 2008 to 2015. In 2012, Sullivan successfully led the company’s
initial public offering (IPO).

“Godfrey has been at the forefront of building global, disruptive and
hugely valuable enterprise software companies for more than three
decades,” said ThousandEyes co-founder and CEO Mohit Lad. “Godfrey’s
expertise in building and scaling customer-centric organizations that
tackle real industry problems with top-notch solutions will be
invaluable as we continue to expand our product offerings and global
presence to create value for today’s digital enterprises.”

“Every company depends on the Internet to deliver products and services
to their customers, and yet the Internet is outside of IT’s control,”
said Sullivan. “By delivering the most comprehensive real-time map of
the Internet that provides visibility into the availability,
performance, security, and quality of their digital experiences,
ThousandEyes is uniquely positioned to become a mission-critical
component of the enterprise IT stack.”

Sullivan currently serves on the boards of CrowdStrike since 2017,
People.ai since March 2019 and RingCentral since April 2019. He
previously served on the board of directors at Citrix Systems, Inc. from
2005 to 2018, and Informatica from 2008 to 2013. He is the former
president and CEO of Hyperion Solutions Corporation, which was acquired
by Oracle in 2007 for $3.3 billion under Sullivan’s leadership. Sullivan
holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Baylor
University.
