Nearly 2,000 non-profit firms offer “pro bono” legal services to millions of low income and underserved clients who would otherwise lack access to justice. The firms most often provide legal assistance or representation to help with landlord/tenant, family, elder, consumer, immigration, and criminal law needs, where growing demand constantly strains their resources.
In its largest community service commitment ever, TheFormTool, LLC has begun offering its software and online data collection system at no charge to those community service firms that manage 5,000 or more cases a year. Each contribution is intended to at least triple the firm’s client service capacity without requiring additional financial or volunteer resources.
Because these community service firms often depend on lawyers who volunteer their time and talent on a part-time basis, ease of training, policy compliance, and document quality can be especially crucial to success. Using software from TheFormTool reduces or eliminates those concerns while simultaneously improving their clients’ experiences and reducing stress on the staff.
TheFormTool commented, “As our payback to the legal community that has been so very good to us over the past years, we’re offering our products and services at no cost (‘free’) to community service firms that represent clients in at least 5,000 matters per year. In consultation with each firm, we will recommend and agree upon a mix of Doxserá products and Aurora services that are appropriate to the firm’s needs. TheFormTool, LLC will provide that mix of software and services to each firm on an annual no cost subscription basis.
“Our clients regularly comment about our software, ‘This changes everything.’ We think it’s time to make that power available to those who need it most. We are thrilled to be able to make this contribution to them.”
