the CBRS
Alliance, a collaborative of wireless industry leaders dedicated to
supporting the adoption of the 3.5 GHz Citizens Broadband Radio Service.
The CBRS Alliance mission includes “evangelize LTE-based OnGo™
technology, use cases, and business opportunities; drive technology
developments to fulfill their mission; identify required advocacy steps
and catalyze action in these areas; and establish an effective product
certification program for LTE equipment in the 3.5 GHz band.”
OnGo is expected to transform the wireless industry with the shared
spectrum paradigm driving efficiency in how spectrum gets utilized,
while providing uncompromised connectivity that would enable various use
cases such as in-building, public spaces, and Industrial IoT. The OnGo
technology will deliver LTE at a fraction of the cost historically
associated with this technology while keeping deployments as simple as
Wi-Fi. Members of the CBRS alliance range from major carriers to device
