Samsung Electronics America Inc. announced that The Wall was added to the Samsung display innovations showcased at the Executive Briefing Center (EBC) in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey. The Ridgefield Park location was the first Samsung EBC in the nation and serves as a space where visitors can experience the Samsung Display portfolio first-hand. Customers, integrators and other industry professionals can host events such as corporate happy hours, planning meetings, roundtable discussions and more.

“Our Executive Briefing Centers allow us to better connect with our customers and showcase the latest in cutting-edge display technologies,” said Mario DiAntonio, Director of Sales for B2B Technical Account Management & EBC Programs at Samsung Electronics America. “By updating our premier location in New Jersey to include The Wall, we are further demonstrating how our lineup of innovative display solutions are optimized for effective communication and collaboration in a variety of applications, from corporate to retail to education.”

The Wall is the latest iteration of Samsung’s next generation display technology, delivering a revolutionary viewing experience with pure blacks and vibrant colors. Its slim depth and flush surface allow the display to enhance any environment’s aesthetic seamlessly and the modular, large-format functionality can extend to hundreds of inches in size while delivering outstanding brightness, contrast and viewing angles. Customers can add or remove unlimited LED screens to and from The Wall Luxury to create a customized shape or design without impacting performance or presentation quality.

Additional technologies highlighted in the Ridgefield Park EBC include the Samsung QLED 8K Signage that pairs the market’s highest resolution display with Artificial Intelligence (AI) upscaling technology to produce an immersive viewing experience. Further, Samsung showcases their collaborative workplace solutions through the Flip and Flip 2, versatile and portable interactive displays that enhance today’s fast-paced digital workflow. The Flip 2 is the ideal collaboration solution for a number of settings, from education to small huddle spaces within an office.

The two other Samsung EBC locations are housed in Washington, D.C. and Irvine, California:

  • The Irvine EBC, which opened in April 2019 is the newest addition to the Samsung EBC network, and showcases MagicINFO analytics, a unique solution that tracks foot traffic within a space and analyzes customer patterns. Retailers can leverage the MagicINFO technology to design a better showroom based on customer interests and to more efficiently manage the space.
  • The Samsung Solution Center in Washington, D.C. opened in October 2018 and is focused on federal and command center applications. Featuring display solutions from monitors to LED signage, the DC location is a multi-purpose space fully equipped to project presentations where customers and partners can host meetings, fundraisers and conferences.

Strategic partnerships demonstrate the ways that Samsung’s world-class technologies are further elevated through real-life applications. By leveraging RGB Spectrum’s videowall processers and multiviewers, customers can seamlessly share content and visuals across one or multiple IF Series LED displays. Coming to the Samsung EBC locations in 2020, the solution pairs the IF Series with RGB’s Galileo and MediaWall V processors, offering simple and intuitive content management. Samsung IF Series LED displays offer HDR 10+ picture refinement, optimum peak brightness and extremely accurate grayscale expression. Through this partnership collaboration, the solution is the ideal choice for security and emergency operation enters, controls rooms, lobby displays and network operations.

“RGB Spectrum is very pleased to have entered into this partnership with Samsung, which offers our respective customers Samsung’s industry-leading displays mated with our state-of-the-art display processors,” said RGB Spectrum President and CEO, Bob Marcus. “It is a natural partnership. Samsung’s Executive Briefing Centers are excellent venues to showcase complete leading-edge audio-visual solutions for security, public safety, network operations and digital signage, among other industry verticals of interest. It is an unparalleled opportunity for us to show off our video wall and multiviewer processors on the best displays available. We are delighted to have been chosen by Samsung.”

In 2020, Samsung displays equipped with Havrion software will also be integrated into all three EBC locations. A sister company to United Data Technologies, Havrion created a software that pushes out emergency alerts across digital display networks, ideal for use school districts and hotel properties. Installed on Samsung displays, the software uses artificial intelligence to provide routes away from points of danger when emergency strikes.

“At Havrion, we are focused on enabling clients to use the Internet of Things (IOT) to detect the conditions in their environments that could impact the safety and security of students, staff, employees or guests and provide simple, clear contextual information on what to do next. We accomplish this by using our patented (pending) software and hardware technology to connect sensors and triggers to various communications platforms. In our modern society, we are continuously presented with information on displays in every space we visit. Samsung is the clear leader in the display industry, and we are strategically partnered to uniquely leverage their converged Smart Display technology to deliver the Havrion experience. By having our technology on display in their EBCs, customers will now be able to experience what is possible when you connect smart sensors to smart displays.”

Interested customers and partners can experience the cutting-edge technology first-hand by scheduling a visit to an EBC.
