ScaleFactor, the intelligent finance and automated accounting platform, today announced plans for a new headquarters on Springdale Road in East Austin. The leasing of this larger office comes on the heels of ScaleFactor’s $60 million Series C funding round earlier this month.
Located at 979 Springdale Road, ScaleFactor’s new 53,000-square-foot campus will accommodate the company’s current 200-person roster while providing ample space for the expansion of their product and engineering teams.
The new campus is strategically located in East Austin, a rapidly expanding neighborhood close to downtown, paralleling ScaleFactor’s growth. Austin real-estate developer Peter Barlin led the project, and David Bremer and Alex Durham of Colliers International Austin brokered the deal. Ben Dimmitt with Austin-based Chioco Design is designing the restored space.

The property is undergoing renovations as developers transform the concrete space into an inviting office. The new space is equipped with free parking, outdoor patios, expansive mezzanines, multiple kitchens and gathering spaces. Other properties in the area include the Springdale Station building, which houses the Austin Bouldering Project, Friends and Allies Brewing and Austin Eastciders.
The leasing of the new office is yet another sign of ScaleFactor’s explosive growth, including raising $100 million in funds over the past 12 months and expanding nationally into Denver in April 2019.
