A healthcare IT (HIT) and project management veteran with nearly 20
years of total industry experience, Bordelon will provide the vision and
leadership needed to support the company’s operations as it seeks to
further enhance its already outstanding metrics around service level
agreements and key performance indicators. Bordelon will also be charged
with developing a cross-training program that enables the company to
continue to support volume shifts and emergency management effectively
as it continues to grow.

“eQHealth Solutions’ customer service capabilities have developed
organically over time based on client needs,” said Mayur Yermaneni,
Chief Strategy and Growth Officer at eQHealth Solutions. “But as we
looked to the future, we recognized that there was a need to consolidate
those functions in a single department to create greater efficiencies
and standardize our processes across all contracts. That meant we would
have to find someone with the knowledge, experience and expertise to
direct that department. Randy Bordelon has proven himself an outstanding
leader in multiple areas within the company, so we are delighted to see
him take on this critical position and join the executive team.”

Over the past 10 years Bordelon has served in several capacities at
eQHealth Solutions. Most recently he was director of client program
operations where he was responsible for building client satisfaction
through the formulation, development, implementation and delivery of
company products and services for its government and commercial client
base. This area will continue to report to him in his new role. Before
that promotion, he was a program manager, overseeing the company’s
awarded federal grant to provide HIT consulting services. Bordelon
joined the company in 2009 as an IT project manager.

Prior to coming to eQHealth Solutions, Bordelon was an information
systems (IS) project manager at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady
Health System, where he received his first exposure to HIT. He began his
career as a business systems analyst at The Shaw Group, which was
acquired by Chicago Building & Iron (CB&I).

“I am very excited to take on this new challenge,” Bordelon said.
“Population health management is an incredibly important, incredibly
dynamic field. When done correctly, you can improve the lives of
millions of people while helping to rein in the skyrocketing cost of
healthcare. Our clients are on the front lines of that effort, which
makes it critical for us to ensure we are delivering the level of
performance they require. I’m looking forward to helping eQHealth
Solutions centralize this vital area so we can continue to deliver an
unparalleled client experience.”

Bordelon is a graduate of Louisiana State University, where he earned a
bachelor’s of science in information systems and decision sciences, with
a concentration in management information systems. He is also a
certified project management professional (PMP) and certified healthcare
technology specialist – implementation manager (CHTS-IM).
