PrinterPrezz, Inc., a trailblazer in combining metal 3D printing, nanotechnologies and surgical expertise to design and manufacture next generation medical devices, today announced support for surgeon education in the orthopaedic subspecialties of Spine and Arthroplasty through OMeGA Medical Grants Association (OMeGA), an independent, not-for-profit corporation specializing in third party grants administration supporting orthopaedic graduate medical education (GME).

Along with our colleagues in medical and manufacturing, PrinterPrezz believes strongly in facilitating the education of orthopaedic fellows. PrinterPrezz joins other industry visionaries such as DePuy Synthes, Zimmer Biomet, Medtronic, and Stryker in supporting OMeGA’s mission of excellence in orthopaedic education.

“We believe in encouraging aspiring surgeons and excellence in orthopaedic education,” said Dr. Alan Dang, Chief Medical Officer of PrinterPrezz. “We’re proud to show our support of OMeGA as we assist both students in training and surgeons in their fellowship year to further their education and research.”

“OMeGA is the only completely independent organization allocating grants to meritorious programs in all nine orthopaedic subspecialty categories,” said Rex Haydon, President of OMeGA Medical Grants Association. “We applaud PrinterPrezz’s commitment to education since day one of the company’s inception, and we thank them for their enthusiastic support of research and innovation in medicine.”
