NS1,
the leader in next-generation DNS and traffic management solutions,
today announced that it has expanded its executive sales team as company
momentum accelerates in response to market demand for automation,
IT
modernization
and cyber
risk mitigation
.

Warren Mead joins NS1 as vice president of channel and strategic
accounts and will focus on establishing a channel strategy, field
alignment and training to ensure customer success. Rob Clifford, vice
president of sales for North America, will provide oversight and
strategic direction for sales operations and new market expansion. As
tech industry veterans, both have long, distinguished track records of
leading high-performing revenue teams at companies offering
best-of-breed technologies and approaches.

“Our customers and prospects are racing to adopt modern infrastructure
and application delivery strategies – such as hybrid and multicloud,
microservices and edge computing – to improve performance
and IT
operational efficiency
as they compete in the modern digital
marketplace. We’ve observed how this drive toward new computing
approaches creates unique challenges in application traffic management
that NS1 solutions are uniquely designed to address,” said Kris Beevers,
co-founder and CEO, NS1. “Warren and Rob possess intimate knowledge of
the pain points in the infrastructure and security markets, which will
be invaluable as they lead their teams in identifying growth
opportunities and establishing new programs to further accelerate
company momentum.”

Mead has more than 18 years of experience in channel marketing and
business development management. Prior to joining NS1, Mead served as
the vice president of business development at Nasuni to build up its
strategic alliances for its Cloud Integrated Storage solution. The 2016
CRN Channel Chief award winner spent several years building SpeechWorks
(now Nuance; Nasdaq: NUAN) from its first customers to a $160M public
company with the 12thmost successful IPO of 2000. At Virtual
Iron, Mead launched a sales model that brought in more than 3,000
customers and secured an acquisition by Oracle in 2009. He also led a
successful turnaround at Akorri Networks that resulted in an acquisition
by NetApp in 2011. Mead holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from
Marist College and Leeds Trinity University (Leeds, England).

“I am honored to join such a talented and experienced team that
continuously delivers innovation to enterprises facing complex digital
transformation and dynamic application infrastructure challenges,” said
Mead. “The channel is an area of untapped growth for NS1, and this
program will not only drive revenue and growth opportunities for us and
our partners, but also expand our expertise to more organizations
striving to achieve IT modernization goals.”

Clifford has spent the last 12 years in sales and sales leadership roles
in the security and network infrastructure space. He was most recently
vice president of North America sales for SevOne, the leading network
infrastructure monitoring platform for many of the world’s largest
enterprises and service providers. Prior to that, he spent seven years
with RSA in various sales capacities, including inside sales, channel,
enterprise, global and district manager. Clifford earned a Bachelor of
Arts in Economics and Accounting from the College of Holy Cross.

“NS1’s leadership and innovation in DNS and application traffic
management have positioned the company for massive growth in this age of
IT modernization,” said Clifford. “I look forward to working with the
team in North America to continue to expand our market presence and
influence, and improve our value proposition to customers.”
