Netsmart announced it has been recognized as the #1 post-acute technology platform by Black Book Research (Black Book) for the fifth year in a row. The Black Book survey conducted earlier this year polled nearly 1,450 healthcare providers about client experience and customer satisfaction among more than 20 healthcare technology vendors serving the post-acute community.

“Year after year, we see Netsmart as top-rated in the industry by client users,” said Doug Brown, president and CEO of Black Book Market Research. “It’s clear that, even in a tightening and increasingly complex market, Netsmart is continuing to lead the post-acute care industry by providing a product that is a vital part of their users’ workflow, patient coordination, and critical digital capabilities to the successful providers in the value-based care environment.”

The research company, which is well-known for its emphasis and concentration on healthcare and technology services, conducts regular independent surveys that are verified and validated with internal and external audits to ensure response authenticity and integrity. This poll’s findings were based on responses from electronic health record (EHR) users spanning home health agencies and hospice organizations, hospital-based subacute units, short and long-term rehabilitation centers and skilled nursing facilities.

“To receive this award as the top post-acute technology vendor is a reflection of the collective efforts of our clients and Netsmart associates working together to achieve success in care delivery,” said Netsmart CEO Mike Valentine. “By leveraging our shared talents and expertise, we have developed technology and solutions that genuinely meet the needs of coordinating care in a complex setting and ever-changing landscape. The award recognition represents a tremendous investment of dedication and passion from everyone involved.”

Netsmart was recognized in March by Black Book for earning the top client-rated spots in the Behavioral Health EHR, Skilled Nursing and Senior Living EHR, Home Healthcare IT Solutions, Care Coordination Solutions and Highest Client Satisfaction categories.

“Black Book rankings are well-respected in gauging the quality of technology partners and services across healthcare,” said Valentine. “We are thrilled to be setting the bar for quality in the post-acute space. Getting this type of feedback and response directly from the end-user is a true testament to our efforts to make the person-centered care delivery experience as smooth as possible to make improved outcomes a reality.”
