MemSQL, the No-Limits DatabaseTM for operational analytics and cloud-native applications, today announced three executive hires to help fuel the growth of MemSQL Helios, the company’s recently released cloud database. Roman Bartik joins as Vice President and General Manager, Cloud; Domenic Ravita takes over as Field CTO; and Aaron Shoffa comes on board as Head of OEM Sales.

Bartik joins MemSQL from TIBCO Software, where he held a number of global sales, alliances and channel management positions. In his role as Vice President, Worldwide Analytics & iPaaS Sales and Global Sales Development, he built new global sales and sales development hubs in Singapore, Boston and Dublin.

Ravita is the company’s Field CTO, specializing in the application of new technology to strategic initiatives. His current focus is customer adoption of Helios. Ravita has a proven track record of solving complex customer challenges, with 15+ years of this experience coming from his time at TIBCO Software in senior-level solutions consulting, pre-sales and software development roles. He also held consulting and software engineering positions at Accenture, S1 and AgentWare.

Shoffa joined as Head of OEM Sales, with responsibility for growing MemSQL’s global OEM partner revenue. He is an experienced tech industry sales executive, with stints at Apptus, where he was Global VP of Sales, Healthcare and Life Sciences; TIBCO Software as Global VP of Sales, OEM, and National Director of Sales; and sales roles at SAP and Delphix.

“Roman, Domenic and Aaron are all proven tech industry innovators in the enterprise software space,” said MemSQL Co-CEO Raj Verma. “We’re thrilled to have them join our executive team during this exciting time of company growth as businesses expedite the move of their data workloads and analytics capabilities to the cloud using MemSQL. Each of them brings senior-level expertise in data management solutions that will help our company scale globally.”

These executive hires come on the heels of the company’s recent product releases: MemSQL Helios, an on-demand, elastic cloud database-as-a-service; and MemSQL 7.0 Beta 2, the next major release of its database engine, featuring MemSQL SingleStore – a breakthrough new way of managing data – and new features to fully support Tier 1, system of record workloads.
