LLamasoft,
the leading provider of enterprise supply chain design and
decision-making solutions is proud to announce that it has been named a
GM Supplier of the Year for 2018. The award was presented to LLamasoft
by General Motors during its 27th annual Supplier
of the Year awards
ceremony, held Wednesday, May 15 in Detroit.

General Motors recognized 133 suppliers from 15 countries that have
consistently exceeded the automaker’s expectations, created outstanding
value or introduced innovations to the company. More than half of the
suppliers, including LLamasoft, are repeat winners from 2017.

“We hold our suppliers to a high bar,” said Steve Kiefer, GM Senior Vice
President, Global Purchasing and Supply Chain. “They went above and
beyond to deliver the innovations and quality that will help us earn
customers for life.”

“We are proud to be awarded the premier supplier distinction for the
second year. The fact that we are one of the few enterprise software
providers selected makes this especially meaningful,” said Toby
Brzoznowski, co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer of LLamasoft. “This
honor was made possible because of GM’s collaborative culture and
advanced supply chain analytics maturity and most importantly, because
of our employees who continue to drive value through hard work,
innovation and commitment to customer success.”

The Supplier of the Year award winners were chosen by a global team of
GM purchasing, engineering, quality, manufacturing and logistics
executives. Winners were selected based on performance criteria in
Product Purchasing, Global Purchasing and Manufacturing Services,
Customer Care and Aftersales, and Logistics.
