LashBack, LLC, a leading provider of compliance monitoring, brand protection, and competitive intelligence tools for digital marketers, announced today the promotion of Francis Chmelir to President effective January 1, 2020. Chmelir will assume full responsibility for the operational management, growth initiatives, and strategic direction of LashBack. Peter Wilson, who has led the business for the last seven years, will be leaving LashBack at year-end to pursue other opportunities.
Chmelir has served as LashBack’s Vice President of Operations for several years, working closely with LashBack staff and clients, and has taken an increasing role in the leadership and strategic direction of the business. He has a long history of leading growth and innovation having previously served as Executive Director for ITEN, a catalyst for regional technology innovation, and as a founding member for the Technology Entrepreneur Center (TEC), which helped to establish an incubator where more than 100 businesses operate today. A graduate of St. Louis University, Chmelir serves on several non-profit boards and has won multiple awards for his leadership including being selected as a “40-under-40” honoree by the St. Louis Business Journal.
