J2 Global, Inc. (NASDAQ:JCOM), a leading Internet information and services company, announced the appointment of Nate Simmons as President of its Cloud Services division. He will report to Vivek Shah, Chief Executive Officer of J2 Global, and will be part of J2 Global’s executive leadership team.
Simmons comes to J2 Global from Symantec, Inc., where he served as SVP and COO of its $2.4 billion consumer division which provides cyber security, identity protection and privacy solutions under the Norton and LifeLock brands. Prior to Symantec, Simmons was SVP of Consumer Marketing at Time Inc., where he oversaw subscription revenue for a portfolio of publications. Simmons’s career began at McKinsey & Company, Inc., and he holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and an A.B. Honors degree in Economics from Harvard University.
