in the 2019
Sell-Side Technology Awards presented by Waters Technology. IHS
Markit won ‘Best Use of the Agile Methodology’ for its FRTB solution and
‘Best Sell-Side Data Management Product’ for its Enterprise Data
Management (EDM) solution. It is the sixth time that EDM has won this
category.
“This award recognizes the investments we’ve made in our EDM solution to
ensure it meets the sellside’s evolving requirements,” said Andrew
Eisen, global head of EDM and thinkFolio at IHS Markit. “Our new
data visualization tools help banks to better surface data, while our
recently developed pre-packaged solutions for processes like independent
price verification (IPV) make key functionality more easily available
for clients, leading to reduced implementation time and cost. This year
we are focusing on integrations with several of our other sellside
offerings to expand EDM and deliver new use cases.”
It is the first time that IHS Markit has entered the agile category in
the awards. As agile becomes the established methodology for product
development, it is creating more innovative ways to add value and
deliver better products.
