HireRight, a leading provider of global employment background checks, drug testing, education verification and electronic Form I-9 and E-Verify solutions, is excited to announce that Karen Moore, Director of Product Marketing, will be speaking at the NAHCR 2019 Annual Conference, July 30 – August 2, in Philadelphia. Jill Lopez, Talent Acquisition Manager for the Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, will join her as co-presenter.
In their session, “Buy, Build or Borrow? Balancing Healthcare Staffing Needs in an Evolving Environment,” Ms. Moore and Ms. Lopez will provide actionable advice to audience members on how to adjust hiring and staffing strategies to remain competitive in a tight labor market. The presentation will lay out a three-pronged approach to developing a strategic workforce management plan, including:
- “Buying talent” or hiring fulltime employees;
- “Building talent” or training existing employees to assume new responsibilities; and
- “Borrowing talent” or using contract employees to fill gaps
“This session comes at a time when hiring strategy and execution is of the utmost importance for healthcare companies looking to develop a competitive edge in the market,” Ms. Moore said. “As the country faces one of the tightest hiring markets in 50 years coupled with an increasing skills gap, the healthcare industry’s hiring needs show no sign of a slowdown. This session will help attendees think outside of traditional staffing strategies to find the right mix of workers to meet the organization’s needs both today and into the future.”
Ms. Moore and Ms. Lopez’ session takes place on Wednesday, July 31, from 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM EDT at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
