Happy Returns, the only provider of end-to-end returns management solutions for retailers and their customers, today announced a partnership with BigCommerce to provide Happy Returns’ full suite of returns software and reverse logistics to BigCommerce merchants.

Under the partnership, Happy Returns has integrated its industry-leading Online Return & Exchange Service (ORES) with the BigCommerce platform, offering merchants a fully-branded, customizable online flow that maximizes revenue by giving shoppers the ease and flexibility to initiate returns online. In addition to ORES, BigCommerce retailers now have access to Happy Returns’ nationwide network of 700+ Return Bars for in-person drop off and the industry’s only cardboard-free returns program, as well as Happy Returns’ industry-leading shipping rates for returns by mail. The full offering positions Happy Returns’ customers to save an average of 20% on reverse logistics costs in the first year.

The first BigCommerce merchant to launch with the new service is Dana Rebecca Designs. Dana Gordon, CEO of Dana Rebecca Designs said, “We’re excited to be the first to take advantage of the BigCommerce & Happy Returns partnership.”

The new online service for BigCommerce merchants also features other advanced functionality including customizable return reasons, the dynamic display of return methods, comprehensive analytics and reporting across all major return channels, and access to Happy Returns’ newly upgraded customer service console for use by merchant CX teams.

Retailers that use BigCommerce to store order, transaction, and inventory data can also activate Happy Returns’ exchange functionality, including One-Click Exchanges. The feature dynamically suggests exchanges to shoppers based on the item being returned, the return reason, and item inventory. This feature is unique in the industry and has been shown to generate the highest exchange rates available. It may also be available to retailers using third-party order management systems, depending on the configuration.

“We’re very excited to partner with BigCommerce and bring the industry’s only end-to-end return solution to this fast-growing e-commerce platform,” said Happy Returns CEO and co-founder, David Sobie. “We look forward to helping retailers improve operational efficiencies and remove friction from a key point of the shopping journey.”

“People often treat the returns process as an afterthought, but it’s an equally important part of the customer’s overall experience with a brand, which is why we’re so excited to partner with Happy Returns,” said Russell Klein, chief commercial officer for BigCommerce. “Our integration gives retailers on BigCommerce a proven way to reduce returns costs, increase shopper lifetime value, and make reverse logistics eco friendly.”

For a limited time, Happy Returns is offering a two-month “no commitment” trial. BigCommerce merchants can deploy Happy Returns’ return software on their websites and access the company’s low carrier rates for returns by mail. Interested retailers can sign up at https://lp.happyreturns.com/free-trial.
