“Charlie has the necessary expertise and the creative insight to provide
clients with the right solutions and tech opportunities, making him a
go-to resource for travel technology,” said Neil
, partner, GoldSpring Consulting. “He has a unique way of
seeing not only strategically where a client needs to go, but also what
needs to happen at the engineering level, building out the right
combination of technology solutions to help them get there.”

Hammond said the complexities surrounding travel technology and the
sheer volume of options available make it difficult to assess solutions,
design the right strategies and make informed buying decisions. Buyers
are looking for help in understanding what’s available, reliable, and
scalable as well as what works with unique program parameters. TMC
technology layers can also be difficult for buyers to navigate.

“We have detected a clear need in the marketplace to address technology
challenges which Charlie will be able to fulfill on a standalone basis
as well as integrated into our TMC sourcing services,” said Hammond.

About Charlie Mitchell

solutions team spearheading technology consulting focused on the
integration of technology into travel programs. His experience has
involved everything from reporting for travel managers to the
integration of mobile strategy into travel policy. He earned his
undergrad in Psychology and MBA both from the University of St. Thomas
in his home state of Minnesota. When he is not discussing travel trends
with clients, Charlie can be found strumming his guitar, playing hockey,
or training for his next triathlon.
