FIS
(NYSE: FIS), a global leader in financial services technology, announced
that it has been named a “Best Place to Work” for lesbian, gay,
bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) equality by the Human Rights
Campaign Foundation. It was the second straight year that FIS received
this designation.

FIS received a perfect score on the 2019 Corporate Equality Index (CEI),
the nation’s premier benchmarking survey on corporate policies and
practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality. The CEI is administered
by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation. FIS is one of more than
560 major U.S. businesses that earned top marks this year. The company
has also received “Best Places to Work” designations in a number of its
key U.S. facility locations including Orlando and Jacksonville, Florida.

“We are honored to be recognized for the second year in a row by the
Human Rights Campaign Foundation for our LGBTQ inclusive workplace
practices,” said Gary Norcross, FIS Chairman, President and CEO, who is
a signatory of the CEO
Action for Diversity & Inclusion
pledge on behalf of the
company. “We are focused on creating an environment where the world’s
top talent can do the most fulfilling work of their careers. The CEI
provides us with an important barometer of our progress and pushes us to
continue to elevate our efforts.”

The 2019 CEI evaluates companies on their LGBTQ-related policies and
practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic
partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency
programs, and public engagement with the LGBTQ community. FIS received a
100 percent score in satisfying all of the CEI’s criteria.
