Experity, the leading electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management (PM) platform in the urgent care space, announced it has named Kim Commito its senior vice president of product management.
In her new role, Commito will lead Experity’s product team and drive solution-oriented strategies that best unify Experity’s product development and overall vision to address the unmet needs of internal and external stakeholders.
“During these unprecedented times and rapid changes that the healthcare industry faces today, bringing in an illustrious leader like Kim is a perfect choice for us,” said David Stern, chief executive officer at Experity. “Her expertise in product strategy and elevation will help Experity innovate and swiftly meet the evolving needs of urgent care providers. We are excited to supplement the Experity leadership team with such a forward-thinking, well-rounded product expert like her.”
In her most recent role, Commito served as the vice president of product management for Home Care Solutions at WellSky, a leader in home health HIT software. During her six years with the company, Commito served as the unifying force behind product strategy to lead the strategic execution on new product features driven by the organization’s collective feedback. Notably, Commito guided the product team through a series of acquisitions that required multiple competitor platforms to integrate into one, best-of-breed platform. With proven successes building and leading a collaborative and client-centric product team, Commito is eager to apply her learnings at Experity and drive new methods of product innovation for the company.
“For healthcare technology companies like Experity, product sits at the heart of the organization and brings cohesiveness across sales, marketing and customers from a development perspective,” said Commito. “Experity has solidified its position as the leader in urgent care solutions, and I’m excited to help elevate the strategic development of its product portfolio to stay two steps ahead of the industry to not only reactively meet their immediate needs, but proactively anticipate where the industry is going and answer the questions they themselves haven’t asked themselves yet, but likely will.”
