Ergotron Welcomes New Engineering and Innovation Leader

Ergotron, a global company focused on improving how people work, learn, play and care for others, announced that Mike Schaefer has joined the organization as vice president, engineering and innovation. In his new role, Schaefer will lead the engineering and industrial design teams, focused on driving growth through product innovation.

Most recently, Schaefer served as president of ASI Services and strategic advisor at Autonomous Solutions, Inc. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at Tennant Company in engineering leadership roles and eight years at Ecolab leading research and development.

Schaefer is an award-winning executive who brings two decades of experience leading engineering and R&D teams. In addition to engineering expertise, he’s skilled in developing business and product strategy, identifying and negotiating partnerships, marketing, and customer relationship development. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in chemical engineering.
