Envistacom, LLC today celebrated its tenth anniversary – marking a decade of supporting the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) to equip America’s warfighters with mission-critical solutions and technology to counter existing and emerging threats protecting military personnel, civilians, and infrastructure. The company reflected upon numerous milestones as it transformed into a recognized employer of choice, strategic government partner and technology pioneer.

Alyssa Carson founded Envistacom in 2011 with the mission to “make the world a safer place.” The company quickly gained a reputation for agility in providing innovative solutions leading them to become a trusted partner to U.S. DoD and coalition partners. Today, Envistacom operates in 15 countries and employs more than 440 professionals worldwide.

A core driver for the Georgia-based defense contractor’s significant growth over the years is Envistacom’s dedication to research and innovation that are integrated into the solutions for customers across the U.S. DoD and intelligence community. In support of this, the company opened its Envistacom Innovation Center in Duluth, GA in 2017, and Research & Development Centers in Frederick, MD, and in Peachtree Corners, GA in 2020.

“This anniversary is a major milestone for Envistacom, and it’s been exciting to see our business grow and transform over the years,” said Alan Carson, President, Envistacom. “With a rapidly growing global network of experts and an expanding partnership with our U.S. DoD and partner nations customers, we remain committed in our mission to equip America’s warfighters with the technology and tools necessary to help make the world a safer place.”

As a solutions provider, Envistacom is modernizing DoD and commercial communication infrastructures while developing new means for transport interoperability and resiliency in satellite communications. To meet the growing need for interoperable wireless connectivity solutions, the company is developing an open ecosystem for network transport and other real-time continuous processing applications. Through Envistacom’s Transport Virtualization Ecosystem (TVE), common-off-the-shelf hardware can be utilized reducing the logistical and operational burden for the user. Over the last two years, Envistacom was issued four new patents supporting the development of the ecosystem, adding to the company’s expanding intellectual property.

Recognized as a strong supporter of America’s Veterans, Envistacom’s workforce is comprised of over 50% military veterans. In addition, the company supports many outreach organizations including the Veterans Empowerment Organization, the Warrior Alliance, Wreaths Across America, Special Operations Warrior Foundation, and others. Envistacom’s outreach program also dedicates resources to at-risk youth organizations like Covenant House.

In 2020, Envistacom was selected as one of the Top 40 Innovative Technology Companies in Georgia by the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) and a Military Times’ Best for Vets employer. In 2021, the company was selected as a “Pacesetter” by the Atlanta Business Chronicle which is a designation for the fastest-growing private companies in Metro Atlanta.

“The founding principle of the company was to create an employee-first organization,” said Alyssa Carson, founder and CEO, Envistacom. “Our people have always been and will continue to be the core of our success and we would like to take this opportunity to thank them for all of their hard work and dedication over the last 10 years.”
