Supply Wisdom, the leader in real-time and continuous risk intelligence, is pleased to announce that Deutsche Bank executive Victor Meyer will join the company as Chief Operating Officer effective May 1, 2020. Meyer is the former Vice-Chairman of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Councils for both Pandemic and Catastrophic Risk.

“Victor is a proven leader with deep risk and global experience and will be a fantastic addition to our Supply Wisdom leadership team,” said Atul Vashistha, Chairman of Supply Wisdom. “As COO, Victor will co-lead the next phase of Supply Wisdom’s fast growth. His reputation in the industry, both as a third-party risk management practitioner and a thought leader, will support Supply Wisdom’s innovative advancements in our real-time and continuous risk monitoring solution.”

A former U.S. Navy SEAL, Meyer joins Supply Wisdom with almost two decades of risk management and financial services industry experience. Prior to joining Supply Wisdom, Meyer held a wide variety of global roles at Deutsche Bank from Group Head of Operational Risk and the Group Anti-Fraud Unit, to Group-wide responsibility for Third-Party Risk Management, Information Security Risk, Operational Resilience, and Protective Intelligence.

Meyer commented, “I’m thrilled to join the Supply Wisdom team. The current COVID situation has shone a spotlight on the serious deficiencies of point-in-time risk assessments of limited risk categories. Forward thinking executives realize they must embrace the shift to continuous risk monitoring and go beyond cyber and financial. In my role at Deutsche Bank, I had the opportunity to evaluate the risk monitoring solutions in the market, and Supply Wisdom is by far the superior solution. Not only is Supply Wisdom real-time and continuous, but their solution leverages the broadest third-party and location risk framework available. I was so impressed by Supply Wisdom’s solution that I wanted to help take the company to the next level and bring its innovative approach to risk monitoring to more organizations across the world.”
