CTC Global Names Kevin Corbalis Vice President, Engineering and Product Development

Today, CTC Global announced that Kevin Corbalis has been named its Vice President, Engineering and Product Development. In this role Mr. Corbalis will lead CTC Global’s engineering, product development and research and development teams. He will report to J.D. Sitton, CTC Global’s Chief Executive Officer and will serve as a member of CTC’s senior leadership team.

Mr. Corbalis joins CTC from Core Health and Fitness, a leading, privately-held health and fitness equipment manufacturer, where he served as its Vice President, Engineering and Product Development. J.D. Sitton stated: “Kevin is an accomplished business leader whose teams have developed and successfully launched complex and innovative products in highly competitive markets around the world. He is a disciplined and creative problem solver, with a successful track record across a range of industries.” Mr. Sitton added “CTC works with many leading utility companies around the world. Kevin’s global perspective, his emphasis on developing people and his drive to create industry-leading product solutions will help CTC extend its technical leadership in the high performance conductor market.”

Mr. Corbalis’ 30-plus years of experience in the energy, engineered products and fitness industries include multiple management roles with increasing responsibilities in a range of operations in North America, Europe, and Asia. Mr. Corbalis said: “Utility companies are increasingly motivated to use new products and technologies to reduce their carbon footprints and to operate more efficiently, without sacrificing reliability. In a related move, Bill Webb has been named as the company’s first Principal Engineer. In this new role, Mr. Webb will report to Mr. Corbalis and will be responsible for managing third-party research and development efforts, engaging with industry groups on setting and enforcing product standards and managing CTC’s intellectual property portfolio. Previously Mr. Webb served as CTC’s Vice President, Engineering and Product Development. Over the course of 4 years he accelerated the development of new products, expanded the company’s intellectual property portfolio and supported CTC’s commercial efforts.
