Nystrom brings more than 30 years of experience in the contact center and telecommunications space. From his career start at MCI Telecommunications, where he began in solutions selling to large enterprises, to his next step with Verizon Business, leading sales, engineering and customer service units within the global enterprise sales division. In his most recent position as Executive Vice President of Global Sales for Five9, Inc., a leader in the cloud contact center software market, Nystrom was instrumental in the strategic guidance and management of experienced sales, technical and customer success professionals, helping customers move from on-premises to cloud-based contact center solutions. Under his leadership, Nystrom helped Five9 consistently exceed expectations and grew annual revenue from $20M to over $300M.
